Sarafina was born in Wilmington, Delaware, one of 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Sarafina spent her childhood years listening to her mother sing and play the piano. After singing for fun and writing poetry all her life, she finally decided to step in the studio and start recording her own songs. Her first official release was a remake of a Ron Browz song called Forgiveness. The song received rave reviews and thumbs up from Ron Browz himself. Currently she is working on her first mixtape titled Me’lange, meaning medley. With this project, she hopes to gain the respect of fans, showcasing; she isn’t limited to just one genre of music. Some of her musical influences are Stevie Wonder, Luke James, Tina Marie, Beyonce, Patti Labelle and Donny Hathaway. Sarafina describes her personal taste of music as RnB, Hip Hop, Baroque Pop, J Pop, Opera, Jazz Alternative.
